Hello guys! Hope y'all been doing good! And finally, I am back after a long time. So without any further ado let's get straight into the topic! 

Pokemon Unite has been one of the most underrated games in India, which needs a significant boost by the community to grow further and beyond. Recently, Crowd Control Esports have provided one such boost to the Indian Pokemon Unite community by hosting India's first ever Pokemon Unite LAN at Noida , i.e, The AAYO POKECON 2022. 

The tournament boasted of a major prize pool of Rs 10 Lakhs and several well known indian esports orgs, like S8UL, Chemin, Revenant, etc had participated in the tournament. 

About the Tournament :- 

Participating teams for LAN Qualifiers were divided into two leagues - Johto League and Kanto League. 

Johto League teams included - Gods Reign, Marcos Gaming, Chemin Esports, Liquid Esports, Team Emperium, Enigma Gaming, Jupiter and Titans Reborn. 

Kanto League teams included - Revenant Esports, Team S8UL, True Rippers ,  DG Dragons, FS Esports,  Bichoo Gang, Wasted Potential and Falcon X. 

LAN Qualified teams include - True Rippers, Chemin Esports, Team S8UL, Enigma Gaming, Gods Reign, Esportswala, Revenant Esports and Marcos Gaming. 

The main LAN event consisted of a total of eight teams. The matches are played on Best of 5 format, Upper Bracket, Lower Bracket and Grand Finals, rest all matches are played on Best of 3 format. 

After a thrilling Best of 7 series, Marcos Gaming were crowned the CCE Pokecon Indigo Plateau League Champions, by defeating S8UL Esports by a overall scoreline of 4-3.

Pokemon Unite community is still at a very young stage in the country and more such tournaments are expected to come up which can ensure a proper and structured growth of the game.
