Redbull Campus Clutch, this years biggest Valorant Collegiate Level Tournament

Redbull Campus Clutch, is a tournament hosted by Riot Games in collaboration with Redbull Gaming. The tournament is the biggest collegiate level Valorant tournament that is hosted throughout the year, having qualifiers for all major countries, from which, the winning teams, fight it out in the main event for a shot at all the glory!


Last year, Redbull Campus Clutch tournament was hosted in Madrid, it was on a very small scale, where teams who qualified from 12 regions across the entire globe, including USA, Oceania, major parts of Europe and Asia. After the tournament ended, Anubis Gaming, who qualified from Africa, managed to win it all!

This year, Redbull Campus Clutch has returned, but not just on a small scale like last time, but a bigger one, the likes of which nobody has yet seen. This year, Redbull Campus Clutch will be hosted in Sau Paulo, where 49 teams, from all parts of the world, will fight it out, for the huge 20k EURO prizepool. 

This time, our representatives from South Asia, including Team Villanious from India, Team Mystic from Pakistan have also qualified, while the team qualifying from Maldives is yet to be known. The finalized rosters from both abovementioned teams are as follows:

The confirmed dates for this tournament are yet to be known, but as rumors have it, the tournament will be held from 13th to 17th of December this year. 
To know about how the players feel, from Team Villanious, who will be representing us in Brazil, we interviewed Gaurang, here is how it went : 

Q1)What is your aim routine before you play, has there been any special change in it since you got to know that you are going to Brazil?
-> I don't have any particular aim routine, but since learning that we will be playing in Brazil I have started playing more deathmatches to improve my aim.

Q2)How excited are you for the LAN?
->
Since this will be my first international LAN and we'll be meeting players from other nations, I'm excitedly awaiting the LAN. The event has got me incredibly pumped up, I’m super excited.

Q3)What are your expectations from yourself and your team in the tournament?
->We have been practising lately; I know my strengths and weaknesses, and I know what I have to do for my team. As far as my teammates are concerned, I don't need to worry about them; each one of them is amazingly skilled.

Q4)Apart from you, which team do you think are the prime contenders for winning the tournament?
->We are totally focused on ourselves and working on our strengths, we’ll give our 100% no matter what and we are pretty much confident for this tournament.
