GodsReign are the Champions of Skyesports Showdown Pokemon Unite

Skyesports Showdown Pokemon Unite saw 4 invited teams : GodsReign, Marcos Gaming, S8UL and Revenant Esports.

GodsReign and S8UL were looking to get their old form back while Revenant and Marcos were looking forward to have some good practice before Asia Champions League, starting March 18th in Malaysia.

Day 1 was GodsReign losing both their games and struggling to make a statement. Marcos and Revenant looked strong and S8UL showed some solid potential with the new roster.

Day 2 started with GodsReign and S8UL putting up a solid show sending RNT and MG bare-handed.

Day 3 saw the closest game of all time as RNT won S8UL by a goal difference of just 1 in the first map and closed it out 2-0, then, started the revenge arc of GodsReign, as they won flawlessly over S8UL and MG, and thus, The Kings were back.

Day 4 was shambolic for RNT losing both their games and MG made their way to the Finals after defeating S8UL.

Day 5, the Final day saw a competition for glory as both the teams locked horns for a fierce BO7 competition. GodsReign started the day with a clean 2-0 possibly leading to a clean sweep but MG with strong mental resilience came back making the score line 2-2.
GodsReign and MG won the next 2 maps making it a "Paisa vasool" finale, taking it to the final game which would decide the champion.

FINAL MAP :-
GodsReign after weak performance were back to their old roster. Meanwhile, Marcos wanted to enter ACL with a winning momentum. The final map started with MG looking all in control, GR, as good as ever, took over MG without making a single mistake, staying disciplined and doing the right moves. They were successful in taking over the rayquaza and fulfilled their long craving for a championship.

VixZen and OMEN looked completely out of control throughout the tournament and had a cumulative MVP count of 15 out of the 20 matches they played.

Congratulations to GodsReign for winning the Skyesports PU Showdown 🎉🎉
